Travel

I enjoy travelling in my spare time (who doesn't?), especially in the mountains, although I'm more of a trekker than a climber. I have only visited a small selection of the places that I would like to see, inevitably. To liven up this page I've added a few photos of my favourite places.

Gardening

Like any good Englishman I grew up in a house with a garden, spending the summers with friends and family in the outdoors and sometimes in the greenhouse, discovering nature and its inexorable flux. Italy cities are less green than their English counterparts, so I have to make do with a terrace and pot plants, struggling to find the right mix for the tough climatic conditions of Northern Italy: roses in pots, some succulents, peppers and oleander, a lemon tree.
